Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Cowboy yard art

I have been fascinated by this place for years: Camino Real, on 27th and Colorado. Here you can find all manner of yard art, mostly in a southwestern vein. Need a jaunty, guitar-playing frog for your front porch? How about a chiminea, sunburst, bear, snake, lizard, angel, eagle, kokopelli, coyote, trout, sombrero, cactus, string of chilis, giant seashell, Mayan calendar, chicken or the Virgin Mary? All of this and more can be found at Camino Real! (I joke, but along with the weird kitschy stuff there is some very cool stuff too.)

I rather like this cowboy couple. They look a little grim, or maybe they're just deep in contemplation. Chances are they've been standing there for a while.

Hmmm, are you sure those two didn't get lost on the way to the Brokeback Mountain premiere?
