Abandoned farmhouse

This abandoned farmhouse is on County Road 6 N between the Great Sand Dunes and the Alligator Farm. I thought it looked so perfect and symmetrical, like a little Monopoly house out on the prairie. That cloudy haze you see in the background is a dust storm.

Very little house on the prarie. Whenever I see a house abandoned like this one I often wonder about the people who once lved there and what caused the them to leave their home.

This is a wonderful shot Tamera! It really looks desolate and the dust storm in the background completes the picture.
