Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

While at a wedding rehearsal at the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel on Friday, I snapped this picture of the enormous, elegant cross on the east wall behind the altar. No matter how many weddings I shoot there, the stained glass never fails to take my breath away.

Interestingly, at the actual wedding (which took place yesterday), I overheard a tourist exclaiming, "It's a sword!" Hmmmmm. A cross that is a sword, or a sword that is a cross. I wonder if that was intentional on the part of the designer.

That is a really interesting cross.
