Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

I was at the Pioneers Museum on Friday for a wedding rehearsal (yes, they do weddings at the Pioneers Museum now, hooray!), and as I was leaving, the large, west-facing windows flooded the third floor with latticed light. Beautiful.

Hi Tamera,

My name is Brandon Redlinger and I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, very close to where the Waldo Canyon fire destroyed 350 homes. This was too close as my family had to evacuate but fortunately my home is still standing. However, I know many people that I went to school and church with who were not as fortunate.

Now I want to help the Colorado Wildfire victims, so I started a relief last night fund found here:
http://www.indiegogo.com/WaldoCanyonWildfire

My biggest obstacle is promoting it. Im not a business man and I dont have a budget to promote nor do I have a lot of social media outlets.

I want to reach out to some of Colorado Springs’ popular bloggers for their help in promoting the cause and spreading the word. My goal is to raise $25,000 but I think with the whole community pitching in, I can surpass that goal in no time.

Can you write a quick blurb and post it to help get the ball rolling? This would be such a huge help to not just me, but the victims of the wife. 100% of the funds will go to the families affected.

Please let me know if where is anything that we can collaborate on and help the victims.

Thanks you so much for considering my request.

Best,
Brandon
