Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Seven Falls

A section of Seven Falls that I captured while on a portrait shoot last Tuesday (see yesterday's post). These are two of the seven (of course!) waterfalls that cascade down into the canyon. I cannot stress enough that there's barely any water in this picture! Normally, any time of year, there is a much, much higher volume of water in these falls. We are definitely in a drought year in Colorado Springs.  Hopefully we'll get some decent snowfall this winter in the mountains, so Seven Falls will be back normal next year.

Very nice. Hopefully you will get that moisture.

Great image with lots of texture. However theo more concerning problem is the lack of water. Lets hope you have a lot of snow so spring brings lots of water.
