Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

November theme day: the water's edge

Another month has gone by, and that means it's Theme Day again! On the first of every month, City Daily Photo bloggers worldwide post images with a specific theme. This month it's the water's edge. I captured this image of frigid North Clear Creek in charming and historic Black Hawk, about 100 miles from Colorado Springs, at the end of a long day shooting engagement portraits last weekend. Snow and ice formed jagged edges above the rushing water. Such a beautiful spot, but I was glad to get into my nice warm car after taking this picture! Brrrrr!

All over the world, City Daily Photo bloggers are posting their images of the water's edge.  Click HERE to see them all.

I never thought of ICE at the water's edge - but you live higher than anyone downunder in Australia will ever be!! Weird, huh?!
