Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Christmas Eve

I had my usual Christmas Eve lunch with my mom and brother today at Marigold Café and Bakery, a great restaurant on the northwest side of town. They have fabulous baked goods there. On our way out, I grabbed a picture of this yummy-looking yule log. Mmmmmmm!!!  Alas, we are looking at it from the wrong end.  That white blob on top of the log on the right is supposed to be a snowbank I think, and next to it is a red and white sleigh with Santa and his reindeer.  I couldn't go behind the counter to photograph it from the correct angle, but still you can see how nice it is.  I bet it tastes even better than it looks!

The log doesn't need the other stuff—it looks absolutely yummy on its own!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones, Tamera!
