Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

New knitting shop in Colorado Springs!

I found a new knit shop in Colorado Springs! Well it's new to me, anyway. Apparently it's been there for a while, but I only just noticed it -- which is both tragic and inexplicable, since it's across the street from Poor Richards, one of my favorite places in the world. I need to get my eyes checked, obviously. It's called the Woolly Works Knit Shop (327 N. Tejon), and when I noticed it last week on my way to Colorado Co-op, I had to stop everything and take a picture of it. I'm an avid, self-taught knitter, and what I lack in skill I make up for in enthusiasm. I can't wait to go in and touch all the beautiful yarns and choose a new project!  And maybe even sign up for a class.  I've never had a formal knitting lesson, but it's never too late to get some real instruction or learn a new technique. How exciting!

I have someone here who would drag me into that shop. Nice shot.
