Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Feeling the brrrrrr!

Well we have certainly had a cold April! This photo was taken on Tuesday at the Starbucks drive-thru window on Garden of the Gods Road. Cute little snowman, no?  He had been sitting there all day and didn't melt a bit! That's because it didn't get over about 30 degrees on Tuesday -- it was 27 degrees (-3 Celsius) when I took this picture around 4:30pm. Brrrrr!  Trust me, it's usually pretty mild in Colorado Springs this time of year. This is the chilliest, greyest April I can remember. Not that I'm complaining too much.  It's snowed almost every day in the high country this month, which means our snowpack is growing and our reservoirs are reaping the benefits, something we very much need.  All the same, I'm looking forward to the predicted sunny and warm weekend ahead of us!
