Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pueblo, Home of Heroes

Pueblo is known as the Home of Heroes because there are no less than four recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor from there:  William J. Crawford (Army, WWII); Carl L. Sitter (Marines, Korea); Raymond G. “Jerry” Murphy (Marines, Korea); and Drew D. Dix (Army, Vietnam).  Our neighbor to the south is very proud of its military heritage.  I took this photo in front of the Pueblo Convention Center, where four larger than life statues honor Pueblo's hometown Medal of Honor recipients.
