Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Ghost Towns, Part 2

Another image from Chivington, where Pat and I explored a decaying old building. It looks like half the building must have been a garage, and the other half appeared to be simple living quarters. Both spaces were completely abandoned, with old furniture and other flotsam simply left behind to rot.  This is one of the two old television sets I came across.

Now that is one heck of a shot. I would hang that one.

The black and white format really accentuates the theme. I can tell that the TV set is *really* old from the two small holes on the right where the channel selection knobs used to be. Don't see many like that anymore!

I find ghost towns fascinating. We don't have them here (small country! LOL!). Love this shot!
