Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Antique Billiard Museum

Lately Pat and I have been pining a little for our college days. You know, those carefree times when you used to hang around in bars a lot? Bars with pool tables? And inevitably you'd find yourself shooting a game or two of pool on a Saturday night, and eventually you got pretty good at playing on crappy tables with warped cue sticks while suffocating on cigarette smoke.  So we've been hitting the Antique Billiard Museum over by the Citadel Mall every week or two. I know it sounds like a museum, but it's actually a pretty darn big pool hall with tons of tables. And only $.50 per game -- cheap fun!  I'm starting to get my chops back. Heck, I can even beat Pat every now and then!  Here's a picture of Table #9, which Pat and I monopolized for a couple of hours last Thursday night.

Nice composition!
me and a friend used to hang at a college bar after work; where food was cheap and good. We started playing the pool, but we sucked :D - Good times...
