A very very very fine house


Happy Independence Day to my U.S. readers!  Today I thought I'd post a picture this exuberantly colorful house next door Pat's brother Gene's house.  To me it seems stubbornly American in its refusal to conform with the other (tastefully neutral) houses on the block, and I love that.  Independent, indeed! Would I want this house next door to mine? Heck yeah!

I plan on enjoying the holiday, and I hope you do too! :^)
