Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pride-Fest 2013 (Part 1)

Pat and I went to the COS Pride-Fest at America the Beautiful Park last Sunday.  I took a lot of pictures, many of which turned out crappy because I wasn't paying enough attention to my exposures so they ended up in the rubbish pile (sorry!), but still too many to blog in one post. So today I'll blog seven and tomorrow seven more.  We had a good time, even though it was really hot and I forgot sunblock.  It was great to see so many people turn out in support of the LGBT community, dressed in all the colors of the rainbow!

I'm not sure that this guy was 100% "on message" for Pride-Fest (perhaps he wished he was at Comic Con in San Diego instead), but he was certainly picture-worthy.

Even the dogs were into the rainbow theme.

It's great to see so many people supporting the GLBT community. Now if only Russia would get the message.
