Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Cheyenne Mountain State Park

Cheyenne Mountain State Park opened in 2006, and I have yet to explore it. In fact, I must admit that I hadn't even heard of this new-ish open space until Pat took me there the other evening.  (This is reprehensible! A state park within our city limits, and I had no idea it was there!)  It was too late to do any exploring, so I had to satisfy myself with this one picture -- but I promise to go back soon during daylight hours and get lots of good photos for you!

I learned about the flash flood over at Colorado Springs on CBS. Is that the same place where you are?

Hope everything is fine .

This is a great park, loved hiking there. Some great views and abundant wildlife. Really missing Colorado Springs.
