Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pretty in pink... sort of

I'm not a fan of the color pink. Never have liked that color, and all that it represents. But when I learned that the City Daily Photo Theme Day for September was pink, I gamely went out with Pat in late August to try and capture something featuring that loathsome shade. Alas, my workload got the best of me and I didn't get a chance to participate in September's Theme Day (nor did I participate in October's just a couple of days ago, for the same reason), but those pictures have been sitting on my hard drive for over a month, so I might as well put them to good use!  Here was my number one pick. I don't particularly like the hot pink, but I do love the happy attitude of this cute little shop in Old Colorado City. I'll have to go in there and check it out some day soon.

There is an old adage: Better late than never. Nothing wrong with that!
