Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Ute Valley Park

It's autumn, which is my favorite season of all. This time of year I usually do a "portrait special" for my clients, where the price is discounted and a fine art print is included if they bring me a non-perishable food item that I can donate to Care and Share (I match the donation). Yesterday's family portrait session was at Ute Valley Park on the city's northwest side. I like shooting there. There's a nice view and lots of wide open space. There's even a small wetland area. It's pretty, isn't it? You'd never know it was across the street from a densely populated neighborhood! The picture below shows a view 90 degrees to the north from the above photo.

Agree with others, very nice location. Your business offer is pretty creative too!
