Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

"If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" Percy Bysshe Shelley, Ode to the West Wind

The brown, shriveled coreopsis in my front garden was coated in hoarfrost on frigid Sunday, but on Monday we had springlike temperatures and all the frost melted away.
Today: more snow! (I am typing this in the wee hours of the morning and the predicted snowstorm is expected to start very soon.) Yes it's March, that fitful month when we receive the most snowfall, and it's usually of the soggy, heavy variety. But it always makes for nice pictures, don't you agree?

Hoarfrost always makes for appealing shots.

Here we're told not to expect anything like warmer weather until sometime in April.
