Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

100 E Saint Vrain Street

I've always liked this building. When I lived in the "CC ghetto" neighborhood and worked at the camera store downtown, I'd usually walk to work, and it was on my route. I think what always caught my attention was the slate roof, something you don't see very often. I have a feeling those stone shingles have been up there for over a century and will be for another 100 years or more.

And that interesting, almost trefoil-like, gable more or less in the middle.

The variety of that roofline really stands out well against the sky.
