Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Pilgrimage

The other day, my brother Chuck and I had to run to Denver to pick up a piece of furniture that he had purchased. We took an extra couple of hours to go to the Denver Art Museum, where I took this photo. The sculpture is called Pilgrimage and it's by Zhang Huan. You can read more about it HERE.

It is an interesting piece, especially after reading about it at the link you provided.

That's an eye catcher of a sculpture, Tamera. Clicking on the link really explains it so well.

This is cool. I love that museum.

Okay, that was just a little too weird. The interview, I meant, and his lying naked in the ice for 10 minutes, not the sculpture. Although I can see the kids freaking out when they see it.

Hilda, ha! I agree, it's a pretty intense thing all around!
