Summer, hooray!

I got a late start to my vegetable gardens this year, thanks to an awkwardly-timed vacation and some extremely unpredictable weather. When I finally had a chance to do some planting, I went straight to Spencer's Lawn and Garden in Ivywild. They always have the best vegetable selection (many of them organic and/or heirloom varieties), and lots of herbs too. They even had fresh produce for sale! I bought the biggest plants I could get my hands on and promptly put them into the ground. It's been a few days and everything's doing quite well. I'm hoping for a bountiful harvest in a couple of months!
