Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Numismatic Museum

Did you know that we have a museum in Colorado Springs that is dedicated solely to money? It's called the Library and Museum of the American Numismatic Association, and it sits right next to the Fine Arts Center on Cascade Avenue just south of Cache la Poudre Street. (And I love that their website address is www.money.org.) I have lived here forever and never visited this museum, although I'm always saying that I should check it out sometime. (To be honest, it sounds fascinating to this history nerd, so I really must make the time for it!) I did take a few pictures of its exterior for you. One of these days I'll get curious enough to take a tour and learn all about money, then I'll show you a few more pictures :^)

I like the look of the architecture.

The architecture does seem to suit the subject. We have a currency museum here- I should really go in sometime.
