Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Road trip to Aspen (part 2)

Like yesterday's photos, this one was taken at the top of Independence Pass, more than 12,000 feet above sea level. Typical Colorado:  looking at yesterday's blog post, you see blue skies and fluffy white clouds; this shot was taken moments later and facing the opposite direction, and it's all dramatic thunderheads! This image is beautiful in color but in monochrome I think it's exceptional.

(And yes, that's snow.)

In monochrome it works beautifully. And the weather can be that fast in how it changes.

I can't believe the snow is still around. I love it.
