Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Shove Chapel, continued

Just a few more pictures of Shove Memorial Chapel (see my two previous posts). Here's a tight shot of the interesting weather vane. I've never even noticed it before, and it's really cool! It looks like a knight with a lance, mounted upon a horse. Interesting! Below, a few more pictures of this gorgeous chapel.
The typical schedule for Shove is very diverse. On Sunday afternoons they feed the homeless, and there is often a long line of people waiting to enjoy a hot meal.

I have never noticed that Shove Chapel has gargoyles! So cool! Just like Notre Dame in Paris :^)

The gargoyles are a nice touch. The zen buddhist function is a bit odd for a church.

Very medieval, to be sure.
