Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Onion harvest

I harvested these lovely onions just a couple of days ago. Our unseasonably warm fall has extended the growing season, which is great because I got kind of a late start on my garden this spring! My tomato plants are still going strong. Just yesterday we finally hit below freezing temperatures in the dead of the night. I covered up the tomatoes, and since the rest of this week is supposed to be fairly warm, I hope to get just a few more tasty fruits from them before Old Man Winter rears his ugly head.

And on a more personal note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big brother Chuck! We love you!

The colour's quite vivid in these onions.
