Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Yesterday wasn't just cold, it was icy. I mean that literally. My car was coated in a thick coat of the stuff, necessitating a long "warm up" period while I waited in our cozy house for the engine to heat up; followed by an extended "scrape the ice off" period, punctuated by cursing. It was cold. But I had an appointment for a haircut, so to the salon I went, cold notwithstanding. This photo was taken out the car window at the intersection of Academy and Maizeland, looking north through the bottom edge of Palmer Park. Pretty!

Nice photo of the ice. I would prefer to drive in a snow storm rather than a ice storm.

A beautiful shot. Scraping the ice off, however, is never fun.

Frigid beauty! Happy not to be scraping ice off my windshield. Done it before and it's no fun!
