Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Snow falling on douglas fir

Forgive my bad take on Mr. Guterson's book title. This is a douglas fir, not a cedar tree, but it's still poetic! Though Sunday's endless snowfall kept me inside all day, I was able to capture this shot of my neighbor's tree across the street as the flakes drifted down. Pretty!

ETA: I realized after posting this that I had misidentified the tree! It is actually a blue spruce, not a douglas fir. Oh well. You know those evergreens, they all look the same ;^)
