Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Spring takes a step back

It's been warm and sunny for the last two or three weeks, but on Thursday we woke up to wind, snow and graupel. Typical fitful spring, Colorado-style! As you can see from this picture, the mock orange in our backyard had started to awaken from the long winter, only to be covered in snow. I'm sure it doesn't mind a little chill -- or at least I hope not!

Here in Spain, spring has also taken a step back but ... spring starts again.

Thanks for the graupel link! I hadn't heard the term before, but we get that here as well.

We thought we were going to get hit. Luckily it passed us by.
