Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Coming along very nicely!

If there's a definite upside to all the rain we've been having this year, it's the fact that my gardens are thriving! I couldn't help but show off some of the pretty flowers in my front yard. Enjoy!

Tamera, what beautiful flowers! Did you get the red yarrow somewhere locally or plant from seed? I just saw this variety for the first time the other day and I'm in love with it!

(I've read your blog for a long time, but this is the first time I've commented! I love seeing your perspective of Colorado Springs.)

Carrie, wow, thanks for commenting! To be honest I don't remember where I got the yarrow. I planted it at least four or five years ago and it's done really well in that spot. I tend to shop at Spencer's (that's on South Tejon near the Blue Star), the Good Earth (west of the interstate on Walnut), and sometimes good ol' Home Depot. Your guess is as good as mine! I agree, the red is really nice. It doesn't bloom all summer but I sure wish it did!

Pretty colours- the blue in the last shot especially.

I love the red one. I have a yellow one just like it.
