Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Sunday Style!

This is Hanne (pronounced Hannah), who works at a venue where I do a lot of weddings. I first noticed her a couple of weeks ago when I was there to cover an elopement, and I made a mental note to photograph her the next time I saw her. A few days later I was back at the same venue, and so we have today's pictures! I'm sure many of my readers have worked in a restaurant at some point, and if you have, you remember how exhausting it is. The last thing you're thinking about is looking stylish -- you're just trying to get through your shift alive! But Hanne has a signature style that shines through even when she's wearing her work clothes. No basic black for her. How about a snappy white cotton blouse with tiny pleats, and a kicky little skirt in watermelon pink? The gamine haircut and the swoop of liquid eyeliner are the finishing personal touches. Lovely!

She has her own look. Nice lighting.

Gunn, she is wearing comfort shoes (i.e., shoes that are designed for people who work on their feet; I wear similar shoes to shoot weddings) because she's on her feet all day. But even managed to find cute comfort shoes!

The last portrait is my favorite. Really good.

She reminds me of someone I know!
