Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Yesterday was sunny and mild. The Canadian, Colorado, U.S. and IAFF flags at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial looked so pretty in the bright mid-afternoon light, I pulled over just to take a picture.

It is a great memorial and the flying flags are meaningful.

They are pretty! Sadly lots of flags seem to be flying at half staff lately.

Thanks guys! Lois, I think the flags are always at half staff at the Firefighter Memorial, in honor of the fallen. I'll have to follow up on that since I'm not 100% certain!

Oh, it does make sense that they are at half mast. Thank God for fire fighters!

Dedicated to those who were devoted to their task of having single minded loyalty to others in dire need.
