Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Skywatch Friday

I spent yesterday in and around Denver. I had to take my car to the dealership for some maintenance, and they gave me a loaner car to use in the interim. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to head west and visit Buffalo Bill's grave site near Golden (more about that tomorrow!). The above composite of five photos seamed together was taken from the edge of the parking lot of the Buffalo Bill Museum. What a view!

The photo below was taken from the Lariat Loop Scenic Byway -- a wrong turn out of the parking lot took me on this beautiful route. I enjoyed the drive until I found a suitable place to turn around, which afforded me this lovely vista. Sometimes a "wrong" turn is actually a right turn :^)
