1948 Plymouth Special De Luxe 4-door sedan

I spied this automobile yesterday afternoon at the gas station (apologies for the uninspired photography -- I was sitting in the passenger seat of Pat's car and didn't get out to take these pictures). As you can see, the car is a beaut! It's in perfect condition. The proud owner of this classic automobile was an old-timer himself. He told me that the model year was 1948 and that he'd owned it for over 20 years. Then he drove off, listening to doo-wop music on the radio. Later on I did some internet sleuthing and verified that it's a 1948 P-15 Special De Luxe 4-door sedan, and it looks utterly factory new and unmodified. What a gorgeous car!
