Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Carnegie Library Demonstration Garden

I first noticed this garden last September, just glancing out the downtown library window. Apparently it had been there since 2007 but somehow I missed it! I finally had a chance last week to wander around and explore this oasis of calm and beauty in the middle of our downtown. It's called the Carnegie Library Demonstration Garden and it's lovely! All of the plants are particularly suitable for our tough climate. Here are a few pictures of what I saw.
The sentiment in the photo at the top of the post reads, "As is the gardener, so is the garden. Your garden is beautiful." Above, a wide shot of the main garden.
There's a small stage for live events.
Lots of blooms!

A beautifully designed exterior- and well cared for, too!
