Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

"We brake for nobody!"

Forgive the bad photo, it was one of those quickie through-a-dirty-windshield shots! When I saw this school bus yesterday on Union Boulevard, I was puzzled. What kind of school bus doesn't brake for at least children? Then I noticed the SPACEBALLS, THE BUS near the roof, and as I drove past I saw a logo on the driver's door for Tuffley and Sons. I had to commit that to memory until I had time to sit down and do this blog post. I found them HERE. It turns out that Tuffley and Sons is a mobile mechanic service. Mobile mechanic with a sense of humor!

I think you got a great snap of the former school bus here. And you got that traffic camera in the photo as well.

It certainly is puzzling! Your detailed information reminds me of a book I am reading, Visual Intelligence, which promotes observing details with a follow-up analysis. You did a great job and the aughor would be proud of your sighting and perception!
