Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Ready for ski season...

This summer has been hot and mostly quite dry, except for the last couple of weeks. Yesterday was downright chilly -- I had to turn the heat on in our house! (That didn't stop me from running errands in shorts, though. I am a Coloradoan after all.) I've been seeing reports of snow on the summit of Pikes Peak, too, though we can't see it for the clouds. I know it's still a couple of months off, but I'm looking forward to snow down here. I like winter.

Winter is the worst season in my eyes. We are having a normal Summer. Which means that everyone is complaining about it, but not doing anything about it! Expecting 27C tomorrow and that is my kind of weather.

That certainly is a whimsical sight. We're back into heat and humidity here. I hope it's the last for the summer.
