Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Late summer

It's late summer, time to harvest your vegetables! I cannot claim to be the farmer of this magnificent potager. In fact, it's not just one garden but many. This is the BCGA Charmaine Nymann Community Garden in Bear Creek Regional Park, below the equestrian center. BGCA stands for Bear Creek Garden Association, and you too can have a plot here for a very reasonable fee. There are 104 full size plots, and you can grow any kind of vegetable you want, as long as you do it organically. Learn more abut this wonderful nonprofit HERE.
