Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Skywatch Friday

The last few days I've been blogging pictures from a road trip Pat and I took at the beginning of the month to the western slope. I finished yesterday with images from Colorado National Monument. Today's picture was one that I took closer to the beginning of our trip, near Gunnison. Colorado isn't exactly known for its lakes. We have so few of them! We do, however, have plenty of reservoirs, big and small. This is the largest one in Colorado, known as Blue Mesa Reservoir. We spent few minutes basking in its serene beauty before continuing our journey.
