Earlier this month Pat and I took a spur of the moment mini-vacation to the western slope, to explore Ouray, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and Colorado National Monument. It was breathtaking in more ways than one! Here's a shot of the Gunnison River at the bottom of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. (Yes it really is this beautiful. This photo doesn't quite do it justice, honestly.) I'll be blogging more pictures from our little adventure next week, so stay tuned!
