Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

If you're a habitué of the Starbucks at University Village, you'll recognize this art piece, which greets you in the drive through lane. I'm not a big Starbucks drinker but Pat is, and since he's also a fan of convenience, I've gotten to know all the Starbucks drive throughs in town quite well ;^) I don't necessarily think this is an egregiously bad piece of art -- in fact it's even somewhat charming -- but it's cheapened by its location.

Tomorrow I'll post a cute picture of a squirrel to make up for the obvious laziness of today's picture! Ha ha!

It does seem like an odd location. It reminds me of a music note.

It does remind one of a music note. Never seen this art piece before but then again I don't go to Starbucks, not a fan.

Bill I'm sure it's a one of a kind piece, not a "see one at every Starbucks" kind of thing. Our city's doing a good job of putting lots of public art around town -- even at Starbucks!
