Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Autumn flight

Pat and I stopped by Prospect Lake yesterday afternoon, and as we were strolling along the shore, a large flock of Canada geese took flight from the lawn and splashed down into the water. I managed to capture a few decent shots of the action. This one is my favorite. Actually, it's a tight crop -- the uncropped version of the same image is below (BTW the haze over Pikes Peak is the result of area wildfires, per yesterday's post). I couldn't decide which one was better. Which do you prefer?

I liked the uncropped one. I am so homesick! Your photo of the Patty Jewett golf course really got to me! KT

Among beauties is difficult to choose, I think I prefer the first.

In this case, the second shot's my favourite.

Those images are fantastic. My favorite is the second image.
