Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Skywatch Friday

This photo was a possibility for last Saturday's Theme Day, but I decided to hold onto it for Skywatch Friday. It was taken on Elbert Road, south of Highway 24. As you can see, the road is barricaded. In fact, you can only drive a couple of hundred yards from Highway 24 before you find yourself at an impasse. If you drive the opposite direction for about 20 miles or so you'll end up in the tiny village of Elbert. More on that tomorrow!

For more Skywatch Friday pictures from bloggers everywhere, click HERE. Have a great weekend!

I hope there are alternative ways to reach Elbert from this point. Looks like a definitive stop to me.

That would be quite an impasse.

I love these low-to-the-ground road shots! I posted one this week, but had to be careful I didn't end up being roadkill!

Not sure what I miss more - the mountains or the wide open spaces. Still love your blog! KT
