Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Snow on the mountain, but nowhere else

The weather has been gorgeous! This is a good thing, for two reasons: 1) Pat and I are doing some home remodeling this week and I'd rather have warm temperatures than cold for such a project; and 2) obviously, it's a pleasure to have nice weather in the middle of February. The downside is that, well, it's February and it's not supposed to be 70 degrees. There are reports of brush fires around the state (like THIS one), and each bone dry day increases the fire danger. It'd be nice to get some snow. But Mother Nature, kindly schedule the next storm for after we're finished with our bathroom remodel, thanks!
Today's pretty view was brought to you by the Mesa Overlook, one of my favorite places in the city, as you know! I thought the Friends of the Garden of the Gods deserved a shout out on the blog for taking such good care of our crown jewel. Your city and countless visitors thank you, FOGG!
