Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

April 2017 Theme Day: Wet

We are hurtling toward spring! The first of April is here, which means it's already Theme Day again for City Daily Photo bloggers. This month's theme is wet. I was happy to wake up to Seattle-like weather yesterday, not just because it's so unusual for Colorado Springs but also because I was hoping for some rain so I could complete today's photo assignment. Lucky me! I only left the house for a few minutes yesterday, and I knew that my excursion would land me in a parking garage, so I envisioned an image like this. Unfortunately I completely forgot to bring my camera! Drat! My cell phone had to do. This would have been a much better picture if I'd had the camera and lens with me that I'd intended to bring, but oh well, you get the noir mood of it anyway, right?

That's quite a unique treatment of the theme. But that's how rain looks on glass.

It is a creative photo. I partially obscured cars add to the overall photo.
