Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Guanella Pass (Part 2)

I posted an image on Saturday from last month's drive up Guanella Pass, in the Mount Evans Wilderness. Here are a few more. The image at the top of this post is actually several photographs seamed together in Photoshop. As you can see, the view from the summit of Guanella Pass is breathtaking!

I'll post more tomorrow!
The big one on the right is Mount Bierstadt, a fourteener that we intend to summit before the summer is over.
Here it is. Though no fourteener is exactly an easy hike, Bierstadt is considered one of the least difficult ones to conquer because there's technically no climbing involved and the trail is well traveled and well marked. My mom made it to the top at age 71! (But my mom is exceptional. 😊) The summit is 14,065 feet above sea level.

That mountain looks tremendously inviting.
