Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Skywatch Friday

Pat and I came across this near the entrance of Fountain Creek Regional Park a couple of weekends ago: a roof with no building! Isn't that odd? Usually when you see a building in ruins, it's the other way around, a building with no roof. I can't figure out how the heck this happened. But hey, it makes for a good photo.

The fact that it's a park makes me wonder if it was a picnic table shelter.

Yes, that is an oddity! Makes me think of a line in a Beatles song: "...but the vandals stole the handle".

Good one, Stanley! William, it's right across from the park but not inside it. I think it's private property. I am so curious to know what happened here!
