Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Stairway to...

There are two or three short flights of stone stairs like this in Palmer Park. I've always been intrigued by them. They must be quite old and they seem to lead to nowhere, just brush and undergrowth. I wonder what their history is.

Well worn. I wonder if a house once existed where the park now stands.

I have pondered that, but I don't think there have ever been houses in the park (other than the caretaker's). Since there are two or three of these in the same part of the park, I wonder if they might have all led to a hiking trail or something like that.
