Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Do not cross

This building and the one in yesterday's post was burned in a mysterious fire in mid-January. They sit side by side, right up against the railroad tracks on Sierra Madre. No one knows the cause of the fire, and it's obvious that nothing's been done with them since. The FIRE LINE - DO NOT CROSS tape hasn't even been removed. I love abandoned old places like this. I wonder what it was like when it was "alive" and in use and bustling with people and commerce. Was it a warehouse? An office? I'd like to go in there and explore, but I suppose that would probably be inadvisable. Sigh.
