Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Summertime in the Rockies

Rudbeckia are a sure sign of summer around here.  In high bloom in August, they can be found most anywhere in Colorado, their bright yellow faces turned toward the sun.

They are a bright sign of summer and I love seeing them in a field. When I was little I called them Rud-a-beckia and it was difficult to change the habit as I got older.

Lovely shot.
