Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

We Got the Beets

The other day I came across this woman walking down San Miguel Street with a fistful of beets, of all things. This is the sort of random thing that starts the wheels of your imagination spinning. Where was she coming from? Where was she going? Why was she carrying beets? What was she planning on doing with them? (Making borscht, perhaps?) I just thought it was so funny!

You do wonder!

My mother would chop them up, cook them with onions.

Nothing like roasted beets.
